bought it new and with 4 yr warranty and some accessories it was right at 1050$ out the door. | |

| nevermind, i want the 300s not the 3000, I looked it up online after thinking you got yours for cheaper than I remember them being.
Any of the slr cameras are nice though, I have an old Nikon d50 that I really liked, just want something that works better for motion/low light pictures, and the video is just a big plus. | |

Mine takes video but I will not be using it for Video as I have an HDR from Sony for that. I wanted a good entry level SLR camera. This is definitely fitting the bill. The D3000 is what replaced the D40 but upgraded a tad. | |
