How she sits now. Isn't MUCH of a difference, since my old shocks were completely shot, and were bottomed out LOL. Handles like a pro though. And that's only with the rears done! Gonna pay for the fronts, since it looks like a bish to do.

W T F! you got your own Volvo club?? is that black one a two door? That thing is screaming for a v8 swap!

We just happen to like their durability, is all lol. And yeah, the black one is a 2 door, former turbo car. We actually went all the way to Corpus for that one. Picked it up as a roller, no motor or tranny, but they were included with the sale. And speaking of V8 swaps, the PO did include brackets and such to shove a 5.0 in there. We're pretty undecided on whether to put it back to Volvo status and make a sick build with it, or to shove a 5.0 in there. Either has its pros and cons. But we do have a few shortblocks lyin around that we could put to use LOL

Slap a 5.0 in that bish...you can get a donor car for the wiring harness fairly easy. It wouldnt be too bad just slap in the gauge cluster and make a custom mounting bracket for it. You could even throw a c4 in it just to make it easier on the swap.

If he ends up using the Volvo drivetrain, I want all the mounting stuff for mine. If he makes it a 5.0, then I already have a build plan for my brick in case LOL. RSI stroker kit, stage 1 cam, & boost. Lots and lots of boost haha

why not swap in a turbo volvo setup and swap turbo?

I will probably just end up doing a +t conversion on my block. Compression is hardly changed in the b230f, and the b230ft. Plus, the conversion is a really common one, and properly documented on the Volvo forums. and the motor originally equipped in the black 242 is an older model, with even less aftermarket support. I dunno, the thought of having a Volvo stroker motor with a cam, exhaust, ported head, and boost just sounds kickass LOL.

And nah, I'm still learning Ford motors Victor. For me to start picking up tricks for an LS swap would really put me in square one again lol.
