my name is ivan i drive a 2011 gmc canyon with the 5.3 current mods are k&n ported tb ported manifold msd wires thorley headers dual exhaust with magnaflow xpipe and stock g80 3.42 gears been to a couple of meets met some cool people just wanted to join the site to get some good feedback for building this thing lol plans in the future involve a magnacharger

Was this the black one that left Teaworks last night? If so that thing looked like it moved fairly well. I remember seeing the V8 colorado at the Auto Show a few years ago and thought it was pretty cool! I don't care for the magnacharger myself. Too many tuner buddies have said the IATs are horrible to battle.

its dyno tuned with sxt performance and they have the weak 4l60e might be the first thing to go once i start the build

Yeah the weight might keep it alive for a litlle while. How heavy is it? Did you run the tahoe at the dig meet last night?

Weight is about 4000 lbs and yea that was me lol we ran the dig and a low roll so he wouldnt spin but i still pulled on him
And actually the last colorado left the assembly couple weeks ago so no more colorados nor canyons i believe they are bringing in a new design still havnt heard what type of motors on them

From the website options only extended cabs and crew cabs were available with the v8 option ... I dont know if they could of been special ordered

Would be pretty cool to find a stripper 5.3l reg cab from the factory. The aftermarket pretty supportive with headers/bolt ons?
