The new Luv

Here is a sneak peek at the new project. I was building an S-10 but plans changed and I purchased this. ITs a 74 luv that is pretty straight and very little rust. I am currently rounding up parts on finishing it. Hope to have it out by Tx2k12 but depends on time on the rig. I will be busting ass on time off so I can crack some people that are heavy on the lip action...

I've always been fond of those little LUV trucks! Looks like a good foundation with the wheel tubs, fuel cell, and rear coilovers!

That thing looks ready to do some back flips! Hope to see it out busting some ass at 2k12! Hopefully we have a large group of rides heading out for 2k12.

Front suspension is stock but will have coil overs to get rid of the torsion bars. Rear is ladder bars stock frame moved in and a 9in. I am going to run a 4l80 so I can lock the converter for top gear runs. Trying to decide what engine/power adder I want. It's either an old school Chevy on a 250 shot or LS based motor with a turbo. I already have the old school motor so I was leaning that way but I have wanted to build a turbo street truck for a while
