| Can I use a F303 cam with stock E7 heads and valve springs? I gotta use these heads until I repair my GT40's. | |

| yes...the only one that should have any issues is the X cam assuming your shortblock is a 87+ with valve reliefs and a non 86 model true flat top motor. | |

| this was the 1st motor i got, i cleaned it up then i was notified that i cannot use it. so im not using this motor. this is another motor i picked up yesterday, its a 93' and it has a F303 cam in it. looking at this pick you would think i was a ford nut. | |

i might be able to get 500 hp then yeah take a look at the exhaust ports. They are probably smaller than a honda exhaust port. They are stupid and insanely small valves. Stock valves are like 1.78 intake and 1.46 or so exhaust. Just gasket match and I bet its good for a solid 20hp!

| Ahh, flat tops on the first one along with the thinga majig for a mechanical fuel pump. & non forged pistons on the 93 one. Anywho, go at it Don. A lot of people swear to check for piston to valve clearance for it, but I have yet to read or see a case where that typical letter cam causes any issues. | |

| yeah its mostly the X cam. I think there was a Z cam at one point wasnt there?
I did run a TFS stage 1 cam which was .499 .510 but I ran 1.7 rockers which calculated out to be like .529-.540 and had no issues but I had valve reliefs.
