I drive a 2011 GMC CCSB 6.2L 6spd. Currently I have only put a CAI,MUFF,TUNE on it.





I have also added 22x9 Boss Wheels and a Lund Tonneau cover.

We will probably do something thats for sure. At least before we get our new neighbors. They are going to start building the house next door to us sometime next month.

Cool! It's a nice area. I had my house built almost 2yrs ago and have seen so much change in a short amount of time. You know they are trying to build an outlet mall next to the ball-field by HEB. Now i'll have some more car guys local.

Really? Thats good to hear. I am hoping the area gains some value over the next few years that way if we decide to sell I can have a good amount of equity in it. I doubt we will as this house is everything we wanted. But I don't know many houses in the bay colony area with a 4 car garage. So that makes our house kind of unique.

They just started building houses with 3 and 4 car garages. Didn't have those when i was looking. What builder is building your house? Hope you don't mind fighting your taxes every year just they have jumped the last two years i have been here.
Property value is booming in the area.

yeah they mentioned some kind of bullshit like that. We pay taxes to league city I believe and have a dickinson address? I do know that I will not let my son go to Dickinson ISD unless it changes drastically before he gets into school.

My taxes are all inclusive in my mortgage so hopefully I don't have to deal with it TOO much. I don't mind paying extra taxes as long as the value of my home increases. The house we built I priced in other areas and it was ridiculous. I was looking at 300-350k for the identical house in Pearland. The builder we are using is Green Eco Builders. Alot of their standard features are upgrades elsewhere. I got alot of energy conservative features standard on my home like a radiant barrier, double pane windows and hallogen lightning throught the house just to name a few.

YeAh mines the same way. My house is only 1650ish sqft and elec bill never been higher than 143. Andmy acis never lower than 74*

I have a 2 year old son. He turns 3 in October.

Ah cool. I have heard mixed reviews about the new school they just built on Calder rd.
More good than bad though. It's mostly the kids who live in Baycolony that go there.
I don't know that Alvin or Santa Fe are much better..

I went to school in Pearland when it was a good district. I heard it went down hill..

Alvin is actually a very well ranked school district. I went to Alvin and now a days they have a good percentage of students graduating high school with a 2 year associates as well. I would definitely pick Alvin over Dickinson. However I have a friend who teachers for Dickinson HS and she says its not HORRIBLE but not the best either. I don't mind the school in Bay Colony as much but Dickinson HS may be a whole other story. I believe we are zoned for Dickinson HS too.

Yeah but hopefully that will change by the time our kids get older.
