| for one it was in a wreck and most the time the transmission is damaged. If the car was totaled I am sure it was damaged. I would spend another 100$ and get a brand new motor than build a transmission if it were me. | |

| i don't think it came out of a vette... I'm sure it don't matter. the transmission is connected to the rearend in a vette. | |

| Just FYI there is a motor in Texas Performance, has about 15 miles on it. car went from the dealership to the shop and the motor was removed. Talk to Able or Merv and tell them Daniel with the blazer sent you. They are asking $6K for it but you could prob get it for $5500-$5800 | |

| Shit, I'd go with the one Daniel mentioned. I'm confused about the trans being connected to the rearend and not the motor. Never been big on vettes. Hell he just might be fucking around for all I know. | |

| vettes use a "torque tube" to transfer the power of the motor to the transmission which attached to the rearend not to the motor. there is no drive shaft. therefor the transmission would not be attached to the motor. | |

| Gotcha, I see now. I was like well its gotta be attached to the motor then to the rearend with the driveshaft. | |
