Well as some of you know Eddie has been working on his car for a while now...well its up and running. It looks good too....heres a few sneak peak pictures...Hopefully he brings it out Saturday to McRee ford car show so we can get some killer pics....

I believe the piping was done by OddBall turbo....and the tuning was done by TSS and the odds/ends and fuel system was done by SouthSide Speed Shop

He actually bought the kit used.. Had the uppipe changed to fit the bullseye turbo, because it was setup for a 76gts... also had to have a reducer put on the downpipe...

then had it all powdercoated by someone local...

Eddie did alot of the work himself too, with me helping him out on some of the stuff when he needed it.

Next thing is going to be refresh on the shortblock and adding a little bit of compression, heads, cams, and a smaller exhuast housing on the turbo.

Well you would be wrong. Car has seen plenty of back to back pulls and has even made the drive to Texas city and back in rush hour traffic when he takes it to work..

Give it time. Plastic near my turbo started to fall apart. I have coating on everything and a turbo blanket. I was just giving a opinion dont come off as a dick

About how long til you noticed it started to melt? I know Eddie has been driving it around quite a bit lately. Wouldn't that also have to something to do with high EGTs?

I dont have high egt's at all. It took a few months of driving it all the time. Probably nearing about 2k miles I started to notice it .
Dyno pulls dont really affect it since the hood is open letting the heat out.

I kinda think the coating wears out over time

Yeah I could see that too. I know back when i had my skittle there was some guys who had there coolant reservoir melt when they took off the heat shield off the turbo.

Fucken turbo people , one day I will have one on the camaro , would of been cool as shit if I would of kept the coupe and turbo that ho , I'm trying to see what's up on buying orlandos cobra woot lol

Orlando came out last night.

Hell, I told the guys at work in the shop, if they had any turbos laying around from other trucks. They said hell we might find something laying around for the Snake.
