EL S QUE??

Just posting some pics of a few new parts i got in today..

For those that dont know, In preparation for the supra meet coming in a few weeks I decided to redo a few things..

Moved to an AMS1000 boost controller from the hallman pro i used to run...

Moved to a big procharger 1300bhp capable cooler from the budget unit i ran before..

Moving to a Custom garrett based turbo 80mm comp wheel 93mm turbhine wheel, stuffed into a 4t housing.. This is from the 74mm bullseyepower unit i had before..

Oh and lastly, redoing the fuel system, going from a sleeper tank, to the custom alum fuel cell that bolts into the stock tank location..

With bigger return lines, bigger mangafuel regulator, and working on 120lb injectors.

POLL: How much longer till David decides this turbo is still too small for the Bullitt and changes it? LOL. Dang I have yet to see this sucka on the road! I did see it on the trailer that one time though... lol

Nah I think he is going to stick with this one for now..I know he was saying it might be too big and he is worried about that.....

He'll change his mind about something... lol. He might even change his whole mind and stop using V8s... do some sort of DOHC swap on the Honduh Shiet-ic bwahahahaha

I have to admit Sergio pretty much hit the nail on the head, the reason for buying this turbo over some of the cheaper versions was the upgradability... I can move to a race cover, movee to a bigger wheel, move to a billet wheel, I have alot of options as far as upgrading if or when i feel the need too... There are alot of parts interchangable when you use a gt47 based turbo.

Gonna try it with no nitrous first, I am hoping it still spools decent because of the compression and stroke that my motor has, not too mention the last time the fact that I can probly make power to 8k or so if I want to... But yeah it is probly going to be laggier than I initially thought.

He already cut off a big piece off of the radiator support on top, & he plans on cutting another piece on the bottom. He explained that the lower piece of tubing has to make a larger curve, so that's his only option. Looks killer. I'm sure he ain't stressin. It's David we're talkin about, so he'll come up with some crafty shiet to git'er done lol.

If I wanted to do sharp bends, or smaller diameter piping, I would have had alot more options, but being as this my main goal with the newest revisions of my current setup is, be alot faster.. I didnt want to have any restrictions.. So the compromise for this was cut into the radiator support, and having to notch a section of the frame of the hood...

It fits, I will get a picture of everything tommorow...

made some progress today.... First time I have got a chance to work on it in a while....

And for those that have not noticed.. THIS TURBO IS FUCKING HUGE..

I actuallly was thinking that physically it was the same size as my other one, but it must be either longer, or a and inch or so wider...

I had to push it farther up, or I would be riding around with a notch cut in my fender to make this sucker fit..

Hotside is also alot bigger, wastegate doesnt fit in anymore.. Going to have to move that over half an inch or so..

Downpipe still works, still need to connect it to the tailpipes..

Car could easily be ready for the weekend or so.. But I am in no hurry, Still waiting on a set of 235lb injectors...

The 96lbers are barely making it on low boost..

Wtf! 235lbs ga damn! That's a fucken race car!

yeah finally going to make the move to something that is not pumpgas...

Going to try some e98.. Need a whole hell of alot of it..
