| I am suppose to go over there now for lunch. I will look for some markings on it. Googled it and found some information on it. It is a friend of mine that has his own shop, pulled the engine for him and the guy decided to put a dart engine in it. He has been after me to buy this thing for weeks, but yesterday I was there and got to see if with my own eyes. | |

the easiest way to tell is if the intake is off right smack in the middle of the lifter valley is "Hecho En Mexico" also the mains are beefier as well as the cylinder walls. The block makes a stock 5.0 HO block look wimpy!

| Like Dru said, just look for the "Hecho En Mexico". Don't buy into anything else, I've heard of people claiming 302 blocks with the XXX markings on them as Mexican blocks, but those are standard blocks.
& for 600, that thing is a steal (if it's indeed what it is claimed to be).

yeah more than likely it is NOT a mexican block. If the lifter valley is able to be seen it has a good size lettering in the middle saying "hecho en mexico" looks like this

| I'd take it, even though it's not a Mexican block. If the heads have low miles on them as well, they're worth the 600 bucks to me alone. The rest is gravy... | |

| yeah like Sergio said the heads even if they are Pro-Comp aluminum heads are worth the asking price. If you don't buy it let me know and I will pick it up and part it out | |

| I bought it at lunch time, I was nervous with out more input from yall, but gut told me it was well worth it for the same reason you just said. Part out if all else fails.
Thank you guys A LOT.
The rear differential can wait lol since all this engine came with for the price. At least the rear diff can be bought a piece at a time to build a 31 spline with 4.10s muhahaha.

| Edelbrock RPM 2, Holley systemax, or TFS-R intake, 30lb injectors, and a walbro 255lph intank pump will be exactly what you need! | |
