| Does anyone have any idea how the horn wiring gets from the column to the horn button in the steering wheel in the mustangs? Kid I bought it from put a Grant GT 1064 wheel in it but cannot figure the wiring for the horn out. I have looked at hundreds of wiring diagrams but none tell me how to get the cables to the button. Know it might be a dumb question but any help would be appreciated. | |

| wrong order. the fiberglass thingie is what the button snaps onto. it goes inside the steering wheel itself with those 3 shouldered bolts. the the button snaps onto the fiberglass thingie with a spring under the button. so when you press the button the metal will make contact to the steering wheel and the horn will go beep | |

| horn button is self contained and does not need a spring. I believe they did install the sping wrong but doesnt matter in this case. The issue is that the horn brush assembly or "comb connector" they cut off so it cannot get power through the assembly. Grant's instructions are horrible and do not show everything correctly. This is the steering wheel (mine is all black though) the center "GT" pops out and is a self contained unit with spring switch inside. Wires just hook up to back of button. | |
