| THANKS ALL FOR THE WELCOMES.
THE CAR IS ALIVE, BUT LOTS OF PROBLEMS SO FAR WITH MOTOR NOT PUT BACK IN VERY GOOD.
A/C DOES NOT WORK. I AM TOLD RUBED A HOLE IN THE FREON LINE FROM MOTOR RUBBING AGAINST IT. IT WAS OK BEFORE, BUT THAT COULD HAVE BEEN GOING TO HAPPEN ANYWAY AS IT WAS RUBBING BEFORE.
THE BLOWER HAD ALL THE BOLTS STRIPED OUT AND HAD TO RE DO THEM AND REINSTALL, WAS EATING THE BELT UP. EXHAUST IS BROKEN IN TWO PLACES, AND ABOUT TO FALL OFF. THE ALTERNATOR HAD TO BE REPLACED AS THE BLOWER BELT TORE IT UP WHEN IT CAME LOOSE CAUSE THE BOLTS WERE ALL LOSE. THAT ALSO MENT A NEW BATTERY AND NEW BLOWER BELT. JAY AND ARE GRADUALLY GETTING THE BUGS OUT THOUGH. THE TRANSMISSION WAS 3.5 QUARTS LOW ON FLUID, AND THE SHIFTER WAS NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY.
THE GOOD NEWS IS THE MOTOR SOUNDS REAL STRONG AND FEELS REAL GOOD. HOPEFULLY SHE WILL BE BACK TO GOOD HEALTH SOON. | |
