| Trailer Trash Racer is for sale... After some going back & forth, I've decided to part with it. Unsure if anyone here would be interested, but it would be kinda cool to see it go to someone I know. Anywho, here are the stats.
1984 Mustang GT, original v8 5.0 of course, 5 speed. Being sold as a ROLLER. No motor... everything else is practically there and will be included. Original 5 speed tranny, wiring, interior, etc. Basically drop in a motor and you're almost set to go. Body is decent, hell I drove it for 2 years before tearing the motor apart. It was hit on the rear right though back in '84 or '85, but was given a weak repair job lots of years later. I wacked the crap out of the bondo on it after some brews one night, and that'll have to be taken care of. I was going to have it taken care of anyways, so that was my reasoning with the brews lol. Interior is fairly clean, dusty after sitting for 5 1/2 yrs, but still clean. Drivers seat has one nickel size cig burn, and the seat frame is broken, but I was still able to drive fine. Everyone knows I'm short, so if I can drive fine, everyone else can drive fine. Factory radio, factory amp, factory steering wheel, etc. It's still 1984 in there.
As far as upgrades/extras go: 1 steeda short throw still atached to tranny. New UPR adjustable lower control arms (installed). Used (I bought from Dru) Megabite Jr upper control arms (installed). New Tokico HP shocks in rear (installed). Used Steeda sport springs (installed in rear, ones for front have yet to be installed). New Tokico HP struts for front (not installed). Extra set of t-tops will be included. 2 brand new Flowmaster mufflers (not installed). BBK off road h-pipe (not installed). Original mesh style Saleen wheels from some year in the '80's powdercoated in black with decent thread tires (on car). I also upgraded the rear end from a 7.5 to an 8.8 when I redid the rear suspension. Unknown gearing, and with stock axles, but it's still an 8.8.
& that's it as far as I can think of. Car has not been driven since 2006. I'm sure Dru can vouch for me. Hell, I met him in '07 I think, and he along with Vic and Bianca saw the car in my driveway all dusty lol. Couldn't make it turnover back then with the new motor. Anywho, I'm sorry, I don't have any pics available to me right now, especially of the rear quarter panel, but I will try to get some soon. XP price is $1500. I think that's fair. Any questions, pm me or text me at 713 517 7545. Thanks | |

| It's staying with me LOL. Way I figured, I'm already losing a bit. If I sold it with the motor, I'd lose my @ss on it. Everything is brand new on it, and I even paid retail LOL. Atleast there's hope that I can get into something else and I can just keep it on my stand. That's if it sells. I felt weird reading my ad after posting it (and I just have it here for now, since everyone on craigslist flags posts without pics), so I can change my mind again if it doesn't sell within a reasonable amount of time. | |
